Celebrating Irena: The Heart of Our Production Team

At The Original Black Garlic, every batch of our signature ingredient passes through expert hands, ensuring the highest quality for chefs, food lovers, and retailers. On Employee Appreciation Day, we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible work of our Operations Manager, Irena.

Irena plays a vital role in transforming fresh white garlic into the rich, sweet, umami-packed black garlic our customers know and love. She manages everything from unloading and inspecting massive deliveries (up to 4,000 kg at a time) to carefully monitoring the aging process. Each bulb must meet our exacting standards before it’s packed and shipped. 

Beyond overseeing production, Irena also ensures that every customer order is processed, packed, and sent out on time. She handles quality checks, stock management, and even keeps our team running smoothly by coordinating daily operations at our Packhouse. Her dedication and attention to detail keep everything on track. 

Irena's hard work behind the scenes makes it possible for us to deliver consistent, high-quality black garlic to kitchens across the world. We’re incredibly grateful for her commitment, skill, and the passion she brings to her role every single day.
