black garlic and honey trout
Rich, sweet, sticky pan fried trout on buckwheat noodle salad.
- Golden orange trout fillet
- Toasted sesame seed oil
- A spoonful of honey blossom honey
- A pinch of sea salt, pan fried
- 6 @originalblackgarlicuk Black Garlic cloves
- A bundle of buckwheat noodles - Yellow carrot in ribbons
- 2 handfuls of chard
- Sesame seed butter
1. Pan fry the trout in the sesame seed oil and honey.
2. Add a pinch of sea salt and black pepper.
3. Cook each side for around 2 mins.
4. Add buckwheat noodles, yellow carrot ribbons and chard to boiling water over a low heat for 5-6 mins.
5. Remove noodle combo and place on a plate or bowl and place the trout fillet on top.
6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, melted sesame seed butter and finely sliced @originalblackgarlicuk Black Garlic cloves.
