BBQ PORK WITH THE ORIGINAL BLACK GARLIC HONEY MARINADE

BBQ PORK WITH BLACK GARLIC HONEY MARINADE SAUCE IS SUPER EASY TO PUT TOGETHER, TASTES DIVINE AND TICKS ALL THE ‘FINGER LICKING BBQ DISH’ BOXES.  WITH HINTS OF SWEET AND SAVOURY THIS CLEVER DISH DEFINES A MODERN BBQ FEAST.

Ingredients

  • 4 thick pork chops

  • 8 pork ribs

  • Salt & pepper

 

BBQ marinade

  • 8 cloves The Original Black Garlic, minced (push them through a very fine sieve) or 6 teaspoons of  The Original Black Garlic Paste

  • 50ml balsamic vinegar

  • 25ml extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 tbsp runny honey

  • 1 tbsp instant coffee granules

 

TO MAKE

 

  • Combine all marinade ingredients together with a hand whisk or in a food processor making sure that the coffee granules have completely dissolved. Coat the pork pieces in the marinade mixture and leave covered to marinate for 3-4 hours or overnight in your refrigerator.                                                                                          

  • Season the pork pieces liberally with salt and pepper. Cook the meat on a preheated barbecue, basting with any reserved marinade, until the meat is browned and no longer pink inside, 8 to 10 minutes per side. A meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the pork chop should read at least 63⁰C.
