Strawberries with Black Garlic and Balsamic Vinegar - NEW!
This is delicious served with a sweet sparkling wine.
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1 large punnet of strawberries
- 1 to 2 cloves of very finely chopped peeled black garlic
- 1 tablespoon of caster sugar
- 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Hull the strawberries and cut in half.
- Finely chop the black garlic and mix together with the balsamic vinegar and the sugar. Taste and adjust sweetness accordingly.
- Place the marinade and the strawberries in a non-metallic bowl and leave in the fridge for one hour.
- Serve in small dishes with crème fraiche. Garnish with fresh mint.
