Black Garlic Tequila Prawns - NEW!
This is delicious as a tapas or a starter for two people. Serve with some crusty bread to mop up the juices!
Ingredients
- 200g raw peeled jumbo prawns
- 2 teaspoons of piri-piri seasoning (available at supermarkets)
- 2 cloves peeled black garlic- very finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon of stir fry oil (vegetable oil can be substituted)
- 2 tablespoons of Tequila
- 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce
- Juice of one small lime
Instructions
- Sprinkle the piri-piri seasoning on to the raw prawns and leave for 5 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the prawns until pink and cooked. This does not take much time at all.
- Once cooked, place the prawns on to a serving dish.
- Add all the other ingredients into the hot frying pan. Boil briskly and reduce until the sauce is syrupy.
- Spoon the sauce over the prawns and serve immediately.
