Black Garlic not only has a unique flavour, it is also extremely versatile. As an ingredient its sweet balsamic taste has a depth of flavour far out of proportion to the quantity used, but as a raw addition it also adds a completely new twist to even the most simple dishes. Try it in your sandwiches with avocado and cream cheese or tuna, mayonnaise and a little bit of finely chopped red onion, or simply add it to baked potatoes with mild cheddar and butter or just sprinkled on salads.
